FETCH is Wisconsin’s first publication focusing solely on our four-legged friends and their humans. EST. 2004
FETCH Magazine examines the unique bond individuals have with their canine companions & attempts to describe the importance of their co-existence. Besides producing engaging content for our beloved readership, our deep rooted purpose is to help & support abused, abandoned, mistreated & homeless dogs within the local community. We publish several pictures & bios each issue from local rescues & humane societies hoping to encourage our readers to adopt a pet in need. We offer affordable advertising to local businesses who support our mission to help these animals & rescues always receive a discounted rate.
We distribute quarterly to over 300 locations (Madison, Milwaukee, Racine/Kenosha & Green Bay). Our circulation is 10,000 to 13,000.
FETCH highlights the nature of our relationships with dogs, providing both entertaining & informative features for dog lovers. As an informative & thought-provoking look at life shared with our four-legged friends, FETCH fills a niche unexplored by other local publications. “We strive to provide our readers with the very latest in dog-related trends, topics of interest to dog owners: parks with no leash restrictions; events catering solely to the canine variety; & ideas to spend quality time with your pooch.” Every issue also touches on topics that may have already been discussed in the national realm, such as health, grooming & training advice; breed profiles; & canine news.
FETCH is the source for obtaining a new groomer or planning a weekend getaway with your pooch. Interested in pampering your dog with a massage or showering him with homemade treats & specialty wear? You’ll find the answers in the magazine & on this site. With behavioral articles alongside tail-waggin’ features such as holiday gift ideas for dogs & dog lovers, as well as summer fun suggestions, FETCH is truly a dog lover’s dream come true … an accurate & amusing reflection of the many ways dogs share & enrich our lives.
The original publishers named this publication “FETCH” because it gives the perception of having playful interaction with your pup. We encourage our readers to become involved in activities with their “buddy” & to look through our magazine, in print & online, to pick out local training clubs that offer classes in agility, flyball, lure coursing & an array of activities that challenge the dog mentally & physically.
Dogs were meant to share our homes with us & to be our companions. Living with a dog should not be a burden, rather it should enrich our lives & make us feel just as good as he feels when we walk in the door.
